Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi blessed devotees in the city

Mangaluru, Feb 20, 2018 : Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi, India’s spiritual leader from Kerala in the city for two days from today, at Amrita Vidyalaya Grounds in Sulthan Bathery to bless her devotees.

Prasadraj Kanchan, president, Mata Amritanandamayi Seva Samithi staged the programme . In all, 25 physically challenged persons were given free wheelchairs and 64 poor and meritorious were given scholarships. In addition, pension to 200 senior citizens, 25 women got sewing machines for self-employment. Amala Bharata campaign promoting cleanliness in schools. She also handed over sports equipment to government higher primary school, Urwa which recently celebrated centenary.

A book titled ’Karunya Teertha’ was released during the event. A special envelope, and Amma stamp were also released. People from different parts of Karnataka, Kerala and also a large number of foreigners  had gathered  to seek Amma’s blessings.
