Speeding car overturns, rolls off road at Padavinangady; driver unhurt

Mangaluru Apr 2, 2016 : The driver of a Skoda  car escaped the jaws of death by a hair’s breadth after the car overturned and rolled off the road at Padavinangady during the wee hours of April 2, Saturday.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Some eyewitnesses  said the car driver, a doctor whose identify is however not known, was speaking over his mobile phone and was driving at  great speed when the mishap took  place while negotiating a curve.

It is believed that  the accident occurred when he applied brakes suddenly to avoid hitting an oncoming vehicle.

The car was completely mangled in the mishap. It is learnt, the car driver was taken away from the  spot by someone who arrived by another car.
