Speeding car hits 2 cops ; young pair detained

Mangaluru, Aug 25, 2018: A young man and a woman  were taken into custody by the police after their speeding car knocked down two policemen and caused injuries to them at Kadri on August 25, Saturday afternoon.

 

 

 

 

It has been gathered that the car which was over speeding was signalled to stop by the police at Pumpwell. However, the driver did not bother and  zoomed forth at great speed. Even policemen at Jyothi, PVS Circle and Lalbagh could not stop the car. Eventually the car hit two policemen at Kadri while they tried to intercept it. The two policemen Gajendra and Narappa have been hospitalised.
