Speeding LPG tanker overturns at Nekkilady

Puttur, Nov 19,2014:   A speeding  LPG tanker overturned  near a petrol bunk at Nekkilady near Uppinangady on November 19, Wednesday resulting in a minor gas leakage.The fire tender vehicles which rushed to the accident spot, immediately plugged the leakage.

It has been gathered that the driver and cleaner of the LPG tanker sustained minor injuries in the mishap. The vehicular traffic on the route was suspended soon  after the mishap and the vehicles were allowed to ply on an alternate route.

 An empty tanker from MRPL also  arrived and  transferred the LPG from the tanker that was involved in the mishap.
