Speeding KSRTC bus claims life of mother, kid at Uppinangady bus stand

Uppinangady, Oct 12, 2021: A woman and her one year old child died on the spot after a speeding KSRTC bus knocked them down  while entering the bus stand at Uppinangady on October 12, Tuesday morning.

 

The deceased are Shahida (25), wife of Siddique of Shirlalu and her son Shahil.  Shahida who had come to her parental home at Gerukatte was on way to visit a doctor at Puttur on Tuesday. Shahida along with her kid was crossing the road inside the bus stand when the bus which was entering the bus stand ran over them.
