Spectacular Mriga Bete Utsav as part of Car festival at SVT, Carstreet

Mangaluru, Feb 12, 2019: As part of the Annual Car festival of the Shree Venkataramana Temple at Carstreet  Mriga Bete Utsav was held  on February 11, Monday in the presence of Srimad Samyamindra Theertha Swamiji, the pontiff of Kashi Mutt Samsthan and thousands of devotees.

 

Members of the Gowda Saraswath Brahmin community had arrived from  far and near  for the grand celebrations and witnessed the rituals with great devotion.

The Saan Theru or Sanna Rathotsava was held  after the Mriga Bete Utsav procession arrived at Carstreet after passing through Dongerakeri, New Chitra Talkies area and Basavanagudi.
