Special honour for Puttige swami at Udupi on July 22

Udupi, July 18, 2017: Sugunendra Tirtha Swami of Puttige Mutt will be felicitated here on Saturday for installing an idol of Sri Krishna sculpted out of ‘saligrama shile,’ at the Sri Krishna Vrindavana located at the branch mutt of Puttige Mutt at Edison in New Jersey, U.S.

Addressing media at Udupi on July 17, Monday, Srikrishnarao Kodancha, head of the felicitation committee, said that it was an achievement of the Puttige seer for having got the idol installed in Edison on June 8, this year, and giving an opportunity to the devotees to worship it.
