Mangaluru, Aug 20, 2016: UAB, United Artists Band, played a lead in the Independence Day celebrations at ’Saanidya’, Residential School, a school for the Physically Disabled & Mentally Challenged at Shaktinagar on the periphery of the city recently.
They event began with the welcome music, march-past, flag hoisting. UAB team participated in the same, along with the school children, staff and the management.
The program which was well attended ended, with a nonstop session of Baila.
By this celebration, UAB provided a chance to all the children, staff management and visitors to interact in a constructive manner. It spread joy ,happiness, team spirit and a lot more among all.

The name ’Saanidhya’ implies ’Abode of God’ it is a non-profit, non-commercial, social service organization started by Shree Ganesha Seva Trust for Exceptional Persons® It is dedicated to the welfare of the Differently Able. Established in 2003, the institute is managed by a team of committed professionals with over 35 years of experience in working with the Differently Able. The Institute operates a residential school, a first of its kind. The Institute started functioning with just 2 students in 2003, and since then it has made tremendous progress by spreading its message; Today the school has 120 Differently Able students from all over coastal Karnataka. The Administrator is Vasanth Kumar Shetty. UAB Team,headed by F M Lobo, Harry DSouza both from Bejai.
