South Zone Inter Uni Kho-Kho Championship for first time, MU host from Jan 10

Mangaluru, Jan 09, 2017: Reports confirm that MU, Mangalore University will host South Zone Inter-University Kho-Kho Championship for men from 10 to 13 January, 2017 at Mangalore University campus ground.

As many as 720 players, 120 coaches and managers from 60 Universities will participate in the championship. Accommodation and food will be arranged for all participating teams and team managers. The winning teams will be honored with awards.

Pramod Madhwaraj, Karnataka state Minister for Youth Affairs, Sports and Fisheries will inaugurate the championship. Ivan D’Souza MLC and Chief Whip, Karnataka Legislative council will release Mangalore University Sports Policy and Guidelines on the occasion.   Arjuna Awardee for Kho-Kho S Prakash will be the Guest of honor. Prof K Byrappa, Vice Chancellor, Mangalore University will preside over the function.
