Mangaluru, Jan 18, 2020: Similar to Gandhiji’s non-cooperation movement during freedom struggle, there should be a non-cooperation movement by not furnishing any documents with regard to CAA, NPR and NRC, said social activist Bhavya Narasimhamurthi.

She was addressing a citizens’ rights convention organised at Bajpe under the aegis of Samvidhana Samrakshana Vedike on January 17, Friday.

Bhavya alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amt Shah were creating new problems leading to chaos. Public opinion must be respected in a democracy, but the two are behaving in a dictatorial fashion, she said and urged  people not to rest until CAA was withdrawn.

Jnanaprakasha Swamiji of Mysuru who also addressed the meet said  the time has come to teach a lesson to Modi-Shah  who, he alleged were only  telling lies.
Fr William Martis inaugurated the convention.  Activist Bhasker Prasad,  Imam of Kundapur masjid, advocate Sudhir Kumar Kudroli, DYFI District President B K Imtiyaz and others were present.
