Addressing media at Press Club on Thursday November3, he said that as  Siddaramaiah’s future looks uncertain, he must rise from slumber and start  “Vikas Rath Yatra” from his home town in order to help the Congress  come back to power.

Speaking about One rank One Pension, Poojary blamed Prime Minister Narendra Modi for disillusioning people and army with fake promises. Central Government is directly responsible for creating confusion in the country, he alleged.

Referring to the suicide of a retired soldier,  Poojary  questioned why  Delhi Chief Minister Aravind Kejrival and Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi were prevented from  meeting the Army veteran’s family.

Poojary took potshots at politician and former military chief VK Singh for the controversial statement  that though the  reason behind the suicide is  being reported as One-rank-one-pension scheme, he wasn’t aware of the mental state  of the person.

He also said that  VK Singh should resign immediately, if not he should expelled from the party. "Similarly BJP Leader Meenakshi Lekhi also need to be expelled from the party. If Modi is not able to fulfil the promises, let Modi admit that he has utterly failed to keep up his promises," Poojary demanded.

" Whole world is keeping an eye on our country, the FDI has been lowered, share market has collapsed, there is no peace and the value of rupee is decreasing against the dollar," Poojary concluded.

Congress leaders Kallige Tharanath Shetty, Arun Coelho and Karunakar were present.
