Siddaramaiah demands judicial probe into police firing incident

Mangaluru, Dec 23 2019: Former chief minister Siddaramaiah who expressed his displeasure over the state government decision to hand  over the investigation into  the Mangaluru police firing incident   to the CID, has instead demanded a judicial probe by a sitting High Court judge.

 

Siddaramaiah was speaking to reporters at the Mangaluru International Airport on his arrival to the city on December 23, Sunday.

 The former CM also took strong exception to the statement of BJP MP Tejaswi Surya  regarding the Citizenship Amendment Act protests and said the MP  has no concern for the poor.

Former ministers M B Patil, Zamir Ahmed, U T Khader, Ramanatha Rai, MLC Ivan D’Souza and others were present.
