Shravan Mahesh of St Aloysius College bags Gold medals in International Skating Championship

Mangaluru, Oct 12, 2018: Shravan Mahesh, a student of I B.A. won Gold Medal in Relay and 3 Silver Medals in 500 mts, 1000 mts and 1500 mts respectively during the Ice Speed Short Track Skating International Championship held at Philippines from 23-29 September 2018.

Shravan Mahesh is a proud son of National Awarded Mr Mahesh, the renowned Skating Coach of Mangaluru. His sister Sharanya Mahesh is also an alumnus of St Aloysius College and Skating Champion. She was the recipient of the prestigious ‘Ekalavya Award’ in the year 2010.

At the age of 6, Shravan began the practice of Skating. He has been participated in various Skating Competitions at the regional, national and international levels.
The ice on the cake was his recent journey to the Philipines whereas he participated in the International Skating Championship and bagged Gold Medal in Relay and 3 Silver Medals in other events.

The College feels proud at the singular achievement of Shravan Mahesh and wishes that he brings more laurels in the years to come.

The Management, staff and students of St Aloysius wish him success at the Asian Championship 2018 to be held at Jakartha, Indonasia from 22nd November to 2nd December 2018.
