Shops, business establishments to be open till 1 AM in Mangaluru, 10 other cities

Mangaluru, Feb 17, 2024: In an exciting development, the state’s nightlife is set to become even more vibrant, as announced by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah during the presentation of the state budget.

 

Effective immediately, business hours in Bengaluru and 10 other municipal corporations across the state have been extended into the night for commercial and business activities. Under the new regulations, trading restrictions will now be lifted until 1:00 am, allowing businesses to operate later into the night.

These extended hours apply to municipal corporations including Ballari, Belagavi, Davangere, Hubballi-Dharwad, Kalaburagi, Mangaluru, Mysuru, Shivamogga, Tumakuru, and Vijayapura, in addition to Bengaluru. This move aims to boost economic activity and provide more opportunities for businesses within these metropolitan limits.

From now on, residents and visitors alike can enjoy the convenience of later business transactions, fostering a more dynamic and vibrant nightlife across the state.
