Shocking: Cowshed gutted in fire in Mangaluru; 5 cattle burnt alive

Bajpe, Mangaluru: July 7, 2015: In a shocking incident, five cattle were charred to death when fire broke out in a cowshed at Kannodi in Yedapadau of Bajpe.

 

 

The incident happened at midnight when Gowda and his family were asleep. When they heard the painful shrieking of animal, they came out of the house to see what happened and found that the cowshed was gutted in fire. Though gowda and his family tried to douse the fire, the cattle had lost their life.

 

The reason of the incident is not yet known. It is suspected that some miscreants might have set cowshed into fire.

Ex-Minister Krishna J Palemar visited the spot and the estimated loss is Rs. 5 Lac.

A case has been registered in local police station. The police has taken up the investigation.
