Sharada Shetty takes charge as President of Coastal Development Authority

Mangaluru, Nov 4, 2016: Sharada Mohan Shetty takes charge as President of Coastal Development Authority on Friday November 04 at Mangaluru City Corporation. Earlier Sharada Shetty was serving as MLA of Kumta Constituency.

 

 

Speaking on the occasion Sharada Mohan Shetty said that, development of fisheries and port will be prirotized while connecting road to port will be constructed. Various funds are still in need for the development in Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and Uttar Kannada and also looking forward to enforce new project in these districts.

She also said that, apart from this tourism and aim will be for the overall development of coastal region.

MLA JR Lobo said that, at present state government has undertaking initiative for the development of coastal region. Coastal development Authority had played pivitol role in framing new projects. So far 10 crores has been sanctioned during the 2014-15 term and 15 crores during 2015-16 term.Sharada Shetty takes charge as President of Coastal Development Authority
