Sharada Ghate, W/o late Shri Prabhakar Ghate no more

Mangaluru, Sept. 5,2017: Sharada Ghate, (80), former distinguished lecturer  in Canara Pre-University College and long-time Rashtra Sevika Samiti activist, peacefully passed away on Sunday, Sept 3.

She was admitted to Yenepoya Hospital on September 2nd due to breathlessness and breathed her last at 2-AM on September 3.
 
She was the wife of former General secretary of Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh, Prabhakar Ghate, who passed in 2005. Smt. Ghate was known as an excellent writer-cum-orator, strict-but-fair teacher, and tireless social worker. She is survived by her son, Sudhir Ghate, a member of the District BJP and Chairman of M/s Magnum Intergraphics - Advetising Agency.
