Shakti’19 – Women Empowerment, National Youth Day at Ramakrishna Mission, today

Mangaluru, Jan 11, 2019: Ramakrishna Mission (RKM)  has  organised several programmes for the benefit of youth. For the past few years, Shakti – Women Empowerment Programme has attracted the attention of many.  This year too Shakti’19 –Seminar on Women Empowerment will be held in RKM Ashram auditorium today  Friday, January 11.

Theme of the  programme is “Contemporary Women : Issues and Challenges” This Seminar will be inaugurated by Smt. Snehal R, IAS, MD, MESCOM, at 9.30 am. Captain Ganesh Karnik will be special invitee. Swami Jitakamanandaji, President of Ramakrishna Math, Mangalore will deliver the keynote address. Inaugural session will be followed by a special discourse by Mataji Vivekamayi, President, Bhavatarini Ashrama, Bangalore on the topic, “Role of Women in National Rejuvenation”.

Smt. Shilpa, Proprietor of Halli Mane Rotti and  Dr. Kanthi Harish, Founder President of Vijetha Special School in Karkala will be motivating the delegates through their real life experience and will be interacting with the delegates. Dr. Raghothama Rao, Corporate Trainer, Bangalore will be  interacting with the delegates on the topic, “Unleashing Your Potential” The programme concludes at 3 pm. Already many girls have registered their names and we invite all the interested to join us in this programme.

Swami Vivekananda’s Birth day is observed as National Youth Day all over India by the Govt. of India on 12 th January. Mangalore Ramakrishna Mission is organizing a special Seminar on “Youth & Nation Building” on January 12, Saturday in Swami Vivekananda Auditorium. Ex-soldier Brigadier I N Rai will be inaugurating the programme at 9.30 am followed by Keynote address by Swami Jitakamanandaji, President, Ramakrishna Math, Mangalore. Captain Ganesh Karnik will be special invitee. Motivational Speaker from Sullia, Sri Srikrishna Upadhyaya will be addressing the youths on the topic, “Youth Icon Swami Vivekananda”. This will be followed by sharing of real life experience by Sri Shreesha Bhat, Founder President of Akanksha Charitable Trust, Puttur and Miss Ramya K Aithal, Asst. Professor, Govt. Women’s College, Udupi. They will also interact with the youth. This will be followed by Interactive session by Prof. K Raghothama Rao, Corporate Trainer from Bangalore. Programme concludes at 3 pm. All interested youth can join in the programme.
