Shabarimale row: MP Nalin urges Kerala govt to file appeal against SC ruling

Mangaluru, Oct 09, 2018:   The Kerala government must   immediately file an appeal  against the Supreme Court ruling allowing women of all age groups  to enter the Shabarimale Ayyappa Temple,  demanded  Dakshina Kannada MP Nalin Kumar Kateel.

kateel pressme...In a press communique,  Nalin said  the Kerala government must try to  convey the sentiments of crores of Hindus on this vital issue to the Supreme Court.

He also stated that the  devotees of Shabarimale Ayyappa Temple are sore over the Kerala Government decision to appoint women  police personnel at the Temple.


He  further demanded that the Karnataka Government must not depute women police personnel to the Ayyappa Temple in  case  the Kerala government makes an  request in this regard.

In another development, the Ayyappa Vrinda of Puttur has  decided to hold a protest  on October 15 against the Supreme Court ruling on Shabarimale Shrine.
