Sexual harassment of minor : Absconding SDPI leader arrested

Mangaluru, Jan 23, 2021:     Police have arrested an SDPI leader named Siddique Ullal on the charges of  sexually assaulting a minor girl. The arrest was made on the basis of the  complaint lodged by the mother of the victim.

 

The accused who is the SDPI Zonal Committee President was absconding after he was booked under POCSO Act.   It is alleged that the accused had   sexually assaulted the minor after failing to  lure  her mother  whom he used to visit on the pretext of helping her.
