Sexual harassment charges : Dejected youth ends life

Udupi, June 04, 2018:  A youth identified as Santosh Kunder (29) has reportedly committed suicide  deeply agonised over the allegation of sexual harassment levelled against him by a young woman.

 

Kunder was found dead at Kadoor Birur on June 2, Saturday. His family hailing from Kodikanyana staged a protest by placing Santosh’s body  in front of the residence of the girl. His family states that  false allegations were made against him eventually forcing him to take the extreme step.

It is learnt Santosh had gone missing since  May 2 after the girl had filed a complaint against him at Kota Police Station.

The girl’s family has  locked the house and has shifted to some other place no sooner it gathered information about Santosh’s suicide.
