Sexual attack on minor at Bajpe, Kuppepadavu auto driver arrested

Mangaluru, Oct 14,2017: Arrest has been made by Bajpe police at Kuppepadavu of resident Mohammed Faizal (37) and registered a case under POCSO Act for alleged sexual assault on a minor girl. 

The accused an auto rickshaw driver and was responsible for supplying water for Kuppepadavau Gama Panchayat residents. The accused had reportedly molested the girl when she was on the way to her residence from a milk diary at Kuppepadavu during morning hours of October 10.

The accused was arrested on October 12 at Kuppepadavu and produced before local court. The court sent him for judicial custody as part of the legal proceedings.
