Sexual abuse of minor girl : Youth arrested under POCSO Act

Udupi, Nov 16, 2020:    A  youth hailing from Kukkikatte  has been arrested under the POCSO Act on the charges of sexually abusing a  minor girl after promising to marry her.

 

The accused is Sukesh Shetty (23), an attender in a private bank at Kaup.  Incidentally, the victim is his neighbour.

He had somehow managed to befriend the girl and had  then abused her. The girl’s parents on coming to know  about this, lodged a complaint following which Sukesh was arrested.
