Sexual abuse of minor : Plantation owner, assistant arrested

Belthangady, Sep 12, 2020:    A plantation owner and his assistant have  been  arrested on the charges of sexually harassing a minor girl who had come along with her mother.

 

The arrested are Rejimonu of Kalenja village  and his assistant Krishna. The Dalit woman from Charmady was  working in the plantation of Rejimonu. In the month of May  the woman’s  minor daughter too had accompanied her and   had stayed with her in the plantation for three days when the incident took place, says a complaint lodged with the police.
