Several places in DK receive good rainfall

Mangaluru, April 15, 2021:      Several places in Dakshina Kannada district including Bantwal, Moodbidri, Puttur, Dharmasthala and Belthangady have received good rainfall on Wednesday.

 

 

 

The  heavy rains uprooted many trees in Sullia.  Power supply was also disrupted in some places while in some other places electric poles and houses have been damaged.

The recent  rains have helped in increasing the water level of  River Netravathi and   water in Thumbay dam has  increased to 5.7 meters.
