Several enthusiasts take part in Organ Donation Awareness Walkathon

Mangaluru, Nov 25, 2018 : An organ donation awareness  walkathon organised on November 25, Sunday  by the Indian Medical Association, Mangaluru Chapter, AMC Trust and Dakshina Kannada Working Journalists Union saw the  enthusiastic participation of hundreds of people. Several  likeminded organisations  as well as   district administration too  had joined hands in organising the Walkathon.

 

Annayya Kulal, President of the DK unit of Indian Medical Association, Dr Shantharam Shetty, Pro-Chancellor, Nitte Deemed to be University, Nalin Kumar Kateel, MP, Capt Ganesh Karnik, former MLC, Srinivas Nayak Indaje, Working Journalists Union President and others were present.

The Walkathon was organised in connection with National Organ Donation Day to be observed on November 27.
