Serial theft in Jeppu Mahakalipadpu ; 6 shops targeted

Mangaluru, June 14, 2015 :  As many as six shops  located close by the railway gate  at Jeppu Mahakalipadpu were targeted by thieves on June 13, Saturday night.   It has been gathered that the burglars have escaped with cash and goods from the shops.

Sources said the theft took place  when  there was a power breakdown and total darkness in the area. Even the heavy rains proved  helpful to the thieves.

 The burgled shops included Ajay Hair Dressing, Shree Ganesh, Shree Ganesh,  SA Distributors, dealers of Lazza Ice Cream and Durgamba General Stories.
