Senior Congress leader Suresh Ballal appointed new Chief of MUDA

Mangaluru, Dec 2, 2016 : Senior Congress leader Suresh Ballal has been appointed as the new Chairman of Mangaluru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) by the state government. Ballal has the experience of serving the post once earlier too.

Suresh Ballal is likely to take charge next Monday. Sources said the official orders regarding the appointment reached Ballal today.

It may be mentioned here that several were in the race for  this post with rumours doing rife that Kodijal Ibrahim,  the immediate past MUDA Chairman, may be reappointed.

Recently, several Congress leaders from the region had even met the KPCC Chief with a demand for some strategic post  to Suresh Ballal, a veteran Congressman.
