Second phase Lok Sabha polls concludes, Dakshina Kannada tops in state with 77.89% polling

Mangaluru, Apr 18, 2019: Second phase Lok Sabha polls concludes in Dakshina Kannada district with 77.89% polling.  Polling percentage in Mangaluru North was 75.36%, Mangaluru South 69.93% and Mangaluru- 75.57%. As for other areas, Moodbidri registered polling percentage of 75.96%, Sullia 84.16%, Belthangady 80.92%, Puttur recorded 82.30% while Bantwal registered a polling percentage of 80.31%.

In Udupi-Chikkamagaluru, the voter turnout as at 5 pm was 75.8%, with Kundapur polling 77%, Udupi 78%, Kaup 77%, Karkala 78%, Sringeri 78%, Mudigere 73%, Chikkamagaluru 69%, and Tarikere 72% polling.

63.52% voter turnout estimated in Karnataka as polling time ends. Here are the estimates:
