Second PU student drowns in sea at Kodi

Kundapur, sep 30, 2018: A second PUC student hailing from Koteshwara has drowned in the sea at Kodi on September 30, Sunday. His body is yet to be retrieved.

 

The drowned student is Manoj Poojary (18), son of Manjunath Poojary of Kodi. Sources said Manoj had visited the Kodi beach along with his friends after playing volleyball.  It is said he was washed away by a giant wave.

He was a student of a private college at Koteshwar. Kundapur Police have registered a case.
