Sea erosion intensifies in Udupi district

Udupi, Jun 22, 2018  : The heavy rains that have been lashing the district since the past few days has intensified sea erosion at Padukere.  Reports also indicate of cracks in some roads here  due to  severe sea erosion.

 

Sea erosion has also posed danger at Thenka Ermal, Malpe, Kundapur, Bada Ermal,  Padubidri and other places with several houses facing danger.

The task of dumping  boulders to prevent sea erosion is on at Padukere.
