Sculpture beckoning to vote on display at Palimar

Udupi, May 08, 2018: Artists of Manipal Sand Heart Team — Srinath Manipal and Venki Palimar — have created a sculpture in mixed medium to promote awareness about voting in the Assembly elections to be held on May 12.

The sculpture made up of clay and metal washers, is now on display at Chithralaya Art Gallery at Palimar in Udupi district.

The sculpture depicts leaders trying to lure voters through different ways.

“Voting is our duty and we should exercise it on May 12. Voters should not fall prey to inducements.

This is the message we are giving through our sculpture,” said both the artists.

The artists will be exhibiting this sculpture on the beaches of Udupi district.
