School bus driver’s negligence costs first standard student’s life

Sullia, Feb 13, 2018 : A first standard student who was critically injured after she fell under the tyres of her school bus at Biliyaru in Aranthodu of Sullia on Monday evening, has succumbed to her injuries.

 

The deceased girl has been identified as  Agneya Balu, daughter of Appachu Kunhi of Aranthodu. She was a first standard student of KVG International School of Sullia. On Monday, she had just alighted the bus when the vehicle suddenly moved over her reportedly due to the negligence of the bus driver.

Police have arrested the bus driver Dhananjaya in connection with the accident.
