Saxophone maestro Kadri Gopalnath cremated with full state honours

Mangaluru, Oct 14, 2019: Saxophone maestro Kadri Gopalnath was cremated with full state honours at his native place Mithabagilu in Sajipamooda of Bantwal taluk on Monday, October 14. Kadri Gopalnath had passed away following brief illness on October 11.

BJP state president Nalin Kumar Kateel, MLA Rajesh Naik and Congress Leader Ramanath Rai were present at the cremation place.

Earlier the body was kept for public homage till 2 pm at Town Hall in Mangaluru. A large number of people including District-in-Charge Minister Kota Srinivas Poojary, Deputy commissioner Sindhu B Rupes paid last respect to the Saxophone maestro.
