Savitha suicide case: Husband arrested

Vittal, Feb 24, 2014:  Vittal police who are investigating into the case of suspected suicide of a young housewife at Kanyana in Vittal, have arrested her husband in connection with the case.

Savitha (27), daughter of Uggappa Gowda of Moodigere, who was given in marriage to  Sunil  of Kanichchar in Kanyana just a few months ago, had  allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself recently.

Her father Uggappa Gowda had then lodged a complaint with the Vittal police blaming Sunil who was reportedly   inflicting physical and mental torture on Savitha.

Investigations are underway.
