Sauharda Christmas ceremony : Leaders deliver message of peace, harmony

Mangaluru, Dec 13, 2015: A ’Sauharda Christmas’ ceremony was held  at Milagres Hall here on December 12, Saturday under the aegis of Mangaluru Christian Council and various other Christian organisations.

 

Rev. Dr. Aloysius D’Souza, Bishop of Mangalore Diocese who addressed the gathering said each and everyone should be messengers of peace, love and harmony. Jesus Christ has been the binding factor of all Christians and his message   should be followed by all, he added.

Dr Geevarghese Mar Divannasios, Bishop of Syro Malankara Catholic Diocese of Puttur who also spoke urged everyone to fill their hearts with good thoughts which in turn would contribute to the well being of the society.

Rev Sandeep Theophil, Secretary of Mangaluru Christian Council, Dr.Laveena Noronha, Director of Ave Maria Palliative Care and others were present.

Variety of entertainment programmes were held to mark the occasion.
