Sarang Parikh of NMIT represented India in the ’MIT Bitcoin Expo 2020’

Mangaluru, March 14, 2020:   The Department of Information Science & Engineering at NMIT is proud to announce that Sarang Parikh, a 4th year student, has represented India in the MIT Bitcoin Expo 2020 (Annual Bitcoin and Blockchain Conference) held at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The conference and hackathon is a prestigious event for the bitcoin and blockchain community.

Sarang is one among the four students from India who got selected after a rigorous interview process.

The India Team proposed a solution for "Zero Knowledge Box - For provable identity without revealing private information".  The India team were the winners for  the "Infrastructure Track".  The received USD2500 as prize money.
