Sandeep Patil takes charge as city police chief

Mangaluru, Feb 22, 2019: Sandeep Patil on Friday took charge as the Police Commissioner of Mangaluru. Incumbent T. R. Suresh has been transferred as Joint Commissioner of Police, City Armed Reserve, Bengaluru.

 

2004 IPS batch officer Sandeep Patil is a law graduate, hails from Bengaluru. This is his first posting in Dakshina Kannada.

Talking to reporters, Mr. Patil said that he would continue all initiatives taken by his predecessor that have helped develop good bonding between people and police.
