Sampath murder case : Cops arrest five accused

Sullia, Oct 12, 2020:    Sullia police who are investigating into the Sampath Kumar murder case reported from Shantinagar here , have arrested five persons on October 11, Sunday. It may be recalled here that Sampath who was an accused in the BJP leader Balachandra murder case reported from Madikeri last year was shot dead by assailants who arrived by a car.

 

Those arrested  are from  Kallugundi Sampaje and Jalsur. Their names have not yet been  revealed by the police. They were arrested  from the Subrahmanya- Bisleghat road   near Munglipade.

Police have seized a Qualis vehicle, three pistols, a knife and machete used by the accused.
