Saint Anthony’s Ashram Jeppu to perform ‘Christa Namana 2018’

Mangaluru, Nov 29, 2018 : With December and the Christmas season at hand, the whole world is gearing up to celebrate Christmas, the B-day of Jesus the Prince of Peace.   Rev Fr Onil D’Souza, Director of  Saint Anthony’s Ashram, announced that in preparation for the holy season, the Church begins the season of Advent on the first Sunday of December.

 

 

In keeping with the spirit of this holy season, Saint Anthony’s Ashram Jeppu has planned to hold ‘Christa Namana 2018’ , a programme which depicts the scenes around the birth of Jesus through Kannada Tableau and singing of Carols in Kannada, Tulu,Konkani, English.
 
The programme will be held in four places of Mangalore city:

1.  On Saturday 1 st of December the programme will be held at Deralakatte junction at 5.30 pm and at Thokkottu Bus Stand at 6.30 pm.

2. On Sunday the 2 nd of December at 4.30 at Panamboor Beach and at near Kadri Park at 6 p.m.

 Most Rev. Dr  Aloysius Paul D’Souza Bishop Emeritus of Mangalore will deliver a Christmas message. All are welcome to come and enjoy the spirit of the Christmas season.
