Sabith murder case : Cops gather leads in probe

Kasargod, July 9, 2013 : Kasargod police who are investigating into the recent case of the murder of a teenager named Sabith at Meepuguri, have said they have gathered some leads.

Investigations have revealed that seven persons including Akshay and Vaishakh were involved in the murder of Sabith who was stabbed to death by some  motorbike bound assailants while he was on way to Meepugiri in his bike along with a friend.

The murder of Sabith had sparked tension in the town after buses went off roads and shops downed shutters. . Some incidents of stoning of buses too were reported.

The situation is presently under control. ADGP Shanker Reddy who is in town, visited the spot of the crime and held talks with the investigation team.
