SSVP, Bondel dedicates seven new houses to the poor at Pachanady

Mangaluru, Sep 26, 2015: In a great humanitarian gesture, the St. Vincent De Paul Society (SSVP) Bondel has constructed seven new houses for the poor at a cost of Rs 21 lakhs at Acchukody in Pachanady. The new houses were inaugurated on September 26, Saturday.  The new houses were blessed by Fr Andrew D’Souza, Parish Priest of Bondel Church.

 

In his address Fr D’Souza showered praises on the St Vincent De Paul for its great work and thanked each and everyone who through their contributions could make the project a reality.

Joseph Francis D’Souza, Founder of the Society and its former members aid the Bondel Parish has been in the forefront in assisting the poor by providing them shelter by constructing new houses.

Prakash Pinto, President of St Vincent De Paul Society, Fr Jason Monis, Assistant Parish Priest of Bondel Church, Henbert Pinto, Vice President of the Society, Lancy D’Cunha, Vice President of All India Catholic Union and others were present on the occasion.
