SP warns action against targeting any community on social media over Corona pandemic

Mangaluru,  April 06, 2020:   Dakshina Kannada District Superintendent of Police Laxmi Prasad has warned of stern action against anyone who  indulges in spreading communally provocative messages  in social sites with the intention of  targeting any community with regard to Coronavirus pandemic.

 

In a press communique, the SP said already four criminal cases have been filed  for targeting a particular community through communally provocative posts. If anyone in quarantine is found to be indulging in such acts, they will face action as soon as their quarantine term ends, the SP has warned.
