SMW institute Bantakal organises workshop on “Robotics

Udupi: September 15, 2015: The SMV Institute of Technology and Management in association with RoboSapiens Technologies, New Delhi, organized a two-day workshop on “Robotics with Embedded-C” at Bantakal in Udupi district.

 

During the workshop, the participants received hands-on training in assembling and programming of line-following and edge-avoiding robots. At the end of the workshop, there was a zonal-level robotics competition, to select the best five teams for the next level of the contest in IIT Delhi in March next year. Thirumaleshwara Bhat, Principal of the Institute, Ashish Kumar and Anurag Kumar from RoboSapiens Technologies, who were resource persons for the workshop, Balachandra Achar, Head of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at the Institute, Ganesha A., Dean (Academics) of the Institute, were present.
