SFI protests against donation menace in private educational institutions

Mangaluru May 7, 2016: Students Federation of India staged a protest outside DC office on May 7 against donation menace in private educational  institutions.

Addressing  the protestors, SFI District President Nithin Kuttar demanded formation of  District Education Regulatory Authority  to ensure donation free education, and to initiate strict action against educational  institutions  which demand donations illegally by violating the rules.

 Parents face several challenges to enroll their children to certain educational institutions as donation demands are very high, he said.

Secretary Charan Panjimogaru, Madhuri and others were present.
