SDPI demands sedition charges against Hindu Maha Sabha members for recreating Gandhi assassination

Bantwal, Feb 02, 2019: Members of the Bantwal unit of the Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) staged a protest in front of the Mini Vidhana Saudha at B C Road on February 2, Saturday demanding  sedition charges against the Hindu Mahasabha activists who recreated the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi and shot at Gandhiji’s effigy.

SDPI District Secretary Sahul S H who addressed the protestors said  the act of the Hindu Mahasabha activists when the whole nation observed Martyrs Day, revealed their perverted mindset.

The protestors later submitted a memorandum to the Government through the Bantwal Tahsildar Rashmi.
