SC Judge gives high importance to all matters in local court

Mangaluru, June 21, 2015 :  Speaking at the  inaugural  of a  six-day long training programme for civil judges examination here on June 20, Saturday,  Supreme Court Judge V. Gopala Gowda told judges from the subordinate courts to give top priority  to all cases coming before them and deliver justice without delays.

 Justice  Gowda said it was in these  courts that many  cases were decided and only a few go the High Court and Supreme Court.  Each case coming before the magistrate and district judges will be different and need  specific methods for  justice.   The judge asked the subordinate court judicial officers to be strict in dealing with anticipatory bail applications filed before them.

Addressing the advocates undergoing the training, High Court Judge Venugopala Gowda said preparation for the examination expands the knowledge of the trainees. No one should be  disheartened at not succeeding in the examination. The knowledge helps in  doing justice better in the cases. 

High Court Judge Abdul Nazeer also spoke.   Principal District and Sessions Judge Uma M.G., Karnataka State Bar Council Chairman P.P. Hegde and Mangaluru Bar Association President S.P. Chengappa were present.
