SBI sponsored Solar Tower Clock inaugurated at Kadri Park

Mangaluru, July 23, 2019: The Solar Tower Clock installed at Kadri Park on behalf of the State Bank of India was inaugurated on July 23, Tuesday by H R Naik, Deputy Director of the Department of Horticulture and Muralidharan, General Manager of State Bank of India, Bengaluru Circle.  Sukumar VK,  Deputy General Manager, Daisy Kujur, Regional Manager  and other officials of State Bank of India were present.

 

The three face Solar  Clock with 3 dial design is a 21 feet structure manufactured using tubular pipe and is acid, rust and weather proof. The time data will be stored for five years using lithium batteries.

Janaki, Assistant Director of Horticulture,  G K Bhat, Architect of the clock, Appajappa, Designer of the Clock who is also a  former officer of HMT, Venkatesh Pai, Member, Kadri Park Committee and  others were present.
