S Ajith Hegde appointed MCC Commissioner

Mangalore, July 9, 2013: MUDA Commissioner Shanady Ajith Hegde has been appointed as the new Commissioner of Mangalore City Corporation. Hegde has been serving as MUDA Commissioner since November 2011.

The appointment comes almost one and a half months after erstwhile incumbent Harish Kumar was transferred on promotion as personal secretary to Urban Development Minister Vinaykumar Sorake.

Ajith Kumar will take charge as MCC Commissioner on July 10, Wednesday.  Prior to being MUDA Commissioner, he has also served as Financial Controller in Karnataka Rural Roads Development Organisation, Joint Commissioner of MCC and Chief Administrator of  Karnataka State Pollution Control Board.
 
Renuka Prasad will now be the new MUDA Commissioner.
