Rs 5.5 lakh worth cocaine seized from Ghana national at Mallikatta

Mangaluru, Jan 17, 2017 : CCB Police have arrested a Ghana national at Lobo Lane in Mallikatta on the charges of possessing cocaine.  Contraband worth Rs 5.5 lakh has been seized from him apart from two mobile phones and a cash of Rs 3,300.

The arrested person identified as Christopher was in India on a business visa.

It is learnt he had landed here two years ago but was presently living illegally even after the  expiry of his visa term.

CCB Sub-Inspector Shyam Sunder led the team which arrested Christopher.
